Lansdowne on worst roads list

Peterborough’s busiest street has once again made the Canadian Automobile Association’s list of Top 5 Worst Roads in Eastern Ontario. Lansdowne Street placed fourth in the list released this week following online voting earlier this year. That’s up from fifth worst road in the 2022 rankings in Eastern Ontario (the region excludes Ottawa). Two Prince Edward County roads, County Road 49 and Barker Street, were first and second, followed by Queen Street in Kingston in third. Bridge Street West in Belleville was fifth. Lansdowne Street did not crack the Ontario Top 10 Worst Roads list in the voting, which was topped by Barton Street East in Hamilton followed by Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto.
