Craft beer festival Saturday

The sixth annual Kawartha Craft Beer Festival takes place Saturday in Del Crary Park in Peterborough, returning to an in-person format following a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., featuring 10 craft breweries, four local food vendors, merchandise vendors, live music and games. Participating craft brewers include the Bobcaygeon Brewing Co., Bancroft Brewing, Dusk to Dawn Brewing, Fenelon Falls Brewing, Haven Brewing, Lindsay Brewing, Old Flame Brewing, Publican House Brewery and Two Blokes Cider. Food will be provided by Coal Pot Jerk, Curry Mantra, Kia Ora Pie and Smashed Patties. Live music entertainment will be performed by performers, Caitlin Currie, Ty Wilson, Cale Crowe, Blue Hazel, Jordy Jackson and Practically Hip. The 2023 festival is made possible by eight local sponsors. Mobile etickets for the festival can be purchased from Eventbrite and cost $20. Also new this year is an exclusive KCBF 2023 T-shirt, designed by local artist Jason Wilkins. Festival goers can save $5 by pre-ordering the shirt in advance with their ticket.
